The tutorial guide is prepared in accordance with the federal state educational standard of the 3rd generation, which presents basic material for mastering and systematization of students’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the study of methods of isolation of the working fi eld using the system of rubber dam in clinical dentistry based on the achievements of modern medical science, corresponding to the curriculum of medical universities. The questions of choice and expediency of using traditional and alternative systems of isolation of the working fi eld are refl ected. Each chapter has a lesson objective and control questions that draw attention to the key aspects of the topic under discussion. The manual contains tests for current control, which will contribute to the improvement of learning the material.
